 Short-term and problem focused psychotherapy from a cognitive-behavioral orientation for young adults, mid-life adults, and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, medical illness, grief and loss, ADHD, relationship issues, and adjustments to life transitions. 


Neuropsychological evaluation to assess how cognitive skills are operating, including memory, language, concentration, visual perception and problem-solving skills.

About Dr. Tracy Waldeck

Dr. Tracy Waldeck graduated from the University of Georgia with a PhD in Clinical Psychology, specializing in neuropsychology.  


She also completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship at 

Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, where her training focused on neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy.   


She is a licensed  psychologist in the state of Maryland.

Potomac Neuropsychology and Psychotherapy serves young adults (age 18 and up), mid-life adults and older adults to 

provide psychotherapy and comprehensive neuropsychological assessments.  


Dr. Waldeck is dedicated to promoting mental wellness through evidence-based practices and has experience treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders.  She takes a holistic, integrative approach to mental health care.

I specialize in providing psychotherapy for adults (age 18 and up).  I am dedicated to promoting mental wellness through evidence-based practices and have experience treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders.  My primary approach to treatment is cognitive-behavioral therapy and problem focused therapy.  Our work will involve defining clear goals and a plan to work towards achieving these goals.

Available for both in-person and telehealth appointments.  


Cost: 

  • $250 per 50 minute psychotherapy session 
  • Neuropsychological Assessments - cost dependent upon testing needs


Payment Methods:  Cash, check, credit card, ACH bank transfer, or Zelle.


Not participating with any insurance at this time and can provide a superbill for submission to insurance for reimbursement.

Parking and Directions

The office is located at 4701 Sangamore Road, Suite 100N.  There is ample free parking  in the lower parking lot. Enter the building  through the doors labeled “Sumner Plaza Offices.”  Take the elevator to PL, cross the lobby and take the North Wing elevators to "1N".  This elevator lets you out into the office suite.

  

If you take an Uber/taxi, direct the driver to the back of the shopping center, opposite the National Intelligence University Campus on Sangamore Road.
